My bicycle is a Thorn Nomad by origin. A British built steel frame of
Reynolds reliable 531 tubing, 26” wheels and enough gears to cope with
any mountain high.
In 2004 I cycled around the world on this bicycle. On returning home, I
had the frame completely resprayed, replacing Thorn’s decals with my
own, but retaining the understated black and silver colour scheme, and
its trademark red bar tape.
