I originally wanted to cycle right across India, to Calcutta, which would have taken at least two months and would mean sacrificing another country or two.  That was until I picked up a guidebook on the Rajhastan area, and realised the wealth of sights and experiences that this one region could offer.  I curtailed my ambition to a traverse of the Gujahrat and Rajhastan regions from Mumbai to Delhi.  Obtaining detailed maps of India can be a problem, so this stage could be a bit of a magical mystery tour.  I have earmarked some obvious highlights, such as Jaipur and Agra; beyond that, it will be a case of seeing where my wheels lead me.
